Happenings this upcoming week
Hey everyone:
Just wanted to send out on the blog what is happening this week with YFM:
Thursday, March 31st:
YFM Business Meeting at 7:00 pm at St. Francis House (1001 University Ave.) We will have a short business meeting and then head over to the Crossing just down the street for their event: LGBT Inclusion: The Changing Landscape, led by Reverend Scott Anderson.
Friday, April 1st:
Join YFM for our first social outing! It is a dinner held at Flat Top Grill (538 N. Midvale Blvd, Madison, WI) . We will be meeting there between 6 and 6:30 pm. If everyone could let us know by the meeting on the 31st (the night before) if rides are needed, that would be greatly appreciated. Submit any requests for car rides to:
Jacob Palmer

For the Bible Tells Me So
Join the YFM as we go to The Crossing to watch For the Bible Tells Me So, a powerful examination of the intersection between religion and homosexuality. We'll meet beforehand at the southwest corner of the Humanities Building on the UW campus (corner of University Ave and Park St) at 6:30 pm and then we'll walk over to The Crossing together. If you can't meet up with us beforehand, you can always go straight to The Crossing (1127 University Avenue). The documentary will be shown from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm.
Afterward, we may go to a nearby coffee shop for a discussion of what we've watched.

Also we have officially completed all the necessary steps to become and RSO and now we are just waiting to be approved. If anyone has any questions on any of the aspects of what being an RSO entails, don't hesitate to ask Jacob Palmer or Amanda Cleary. More information can be found at www.cfli.wisc.edu.
